Delicious vinaigrette with foraged sorrel to give a little lemony acidic flavor.

  • 1/4 C red wine vinegar
  • 2 T water
  • 3/4 C oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sorrel or more if you want more of a lemony taste


  • Grab some sorrel out of your backyard (or wherever you can find some).
  • Chop your sorrel finely, but still rough enough to see pieces in your vinaigrette.
  • Add all of your ingredients to your dressing bottle.
  • Shake and let refrigerate overnight.
  • Shake well and put on top of your favorite salad.
  • ENJOY!
