									<p>This Venison Cheeseburger King Cake is a little late for the Mardi Gras season, but I know you guys will love it anyway!!</p><p>I love king cake! My parents would always order one during Carnival season. Being in New Orleans this year meant I got to go around and try to find my favorite one. I am not sure if I even want to share how many I had this year 😅.  </p><p>For those of you who don’t know King Cake is a cake like dessert, with cinnamon roll style bread, normally topped with icing and dyed sugar and/or sprinkles. It is sometimes stuffed with cream cheese or a variety of other delicious fillings. It is eaten during the Mardi Gras season from January 6<sup>th</sup> (Epiphany) to Fat Tuesday.  </p><p>One King Cake I had this year did stick out to me though. It was savory and stuffed with boudin 🤤. I knew then it was my time to give a take on this normally sweet staple.</p><p>I decided to go for a cheeseburger style of king cake with dyed sesame seeds and ketchup and mustard instead of dyed sugar and icing! It was delicious. I might have overstuffed the cake though 😅. This caused the cheese to ooze out and didn’t allow me to take a pretty picture of the whole thing. BUT, it was delicious!!!</p><p>Wait until next Mardi Gras to make it or just give it a shot out of season. Either way you will love this recipe! 									<p>I’ve been on a slider kick recently and these Beer Cheese Venison Sliders are a nice addition to the repertoire!</p><p>This kind of started with Kings Hawaiian reaching out to me asking if they could send me a care package, which I mean of course! I guess they’re doing a little media campaign because I’ve seen multiple Instagram pages get the same package I got.</p><p>They decided to send me their pretzel slider buns and I thought, what goes better with pretzels than beer cheese?? I decided to go to town with that idea. A little note on this recipe is I don’t drink. So, in making a beer cheese you can use a beer you like, or in my case, one I saw a lot of people on the internet recommending 😂.</p><p>I used a Yuengling, and the beer cheese turned out great! The burgers were very solid too.</p><p>Overall, they were quite tasty. This recipe makes a lot of beer cheese and burger meat, but if you half the recipe you’ll still have plenty of burgers to go around! Let me know what you guys think of the recipe and ENJOY.</p>								</div>

If you were to ask someone their favorite way to cook pheasant, it would probably include some sort of cream of mushroom soup. I reject this premise and instead bring you a tasty burger recipe!</p><p>I might’ve stolen this idea from Hopdoddys, a chain burger place in Texas. I saw an Instagram ad for a new buffalo chicken burger, and it looked delicious! I decided I could do the same thing with pheasant.</p><p>Besides the tastiness of the burger, it is also topped with some cilantro mayo, and a carrot and celery slaw. As long as you have a grinder this is an easy recipe to duplicate!</p><p>If you have some pheasant burning a whole in your freezer, and you’re tired of your average soup, give this recipe a try! 									<p>I follow Grillo’s Pickles on Instagram. They posted a picture of a burger the other week with a caption detailing their Grillo’s Burger showdown challenge. I love Grillo’s and decided I would throw my recipe and picture in the ring. I knew I had to create an epic recipe for it, and I mean EPIC. I wanted it to big and southern and absolutely drool worthy. I also wanted to attach my name to it, so I called it the WOAH burger (Wife of a Hunter Burger).</p><p>First, I had to figure out what meat I wanted to use since I am a wild game website lol. Looking around in my freezer I remembered someone had given me some Nilgai and I knew that would work great! I also decided I wanted to use the pickles three ways to really stand out. I have them just on the burger regularly, because why mess up a good thing? I have them fried. And I even minced them up and put them in the special sauce. They are just that dang good!! If you couldn’t tell by all the other recipes I have used them in, this one should show how good these pickles are.</p><p>Y’all. This burger is amazing. The special sauce, fried pickles and fried green tomatoes are truly out of this world. And I cannot say this enough, but Grillo’s pickles are the best (please sponsor me 😊). This burger truly has it all. I even spent several days trying to track down green tomatoes in San Antonio to make it just right. Something about a green tomato is just right on any kind of sandwich. It’s like if Steak and Shake and In-N-Out had a delicious little gator baby. If you didn’t know, a Wisconsin butter burger has caramelized onions on top and the buns are basically covered in butter. Caramelized onions are a true gift. The way basically just onions and butter come together to make caramelized onions is truly something else.</p><p>But the onions and butter weren’t enough. I had been craving a mustard fried In-N-Out burger and decided to add that wrinkle in too, which if you haven’t gotten that off their secret menu…you need to. The caramelized onions with some melty Havarti cheese is good, but the mustard fried burger takes your tastebuds to a new level. This burger is so simple yet so delicious. It really hit that glutenous satisfying feeling I was after.</p><p>Mwah chefs kiss.</p>								</div>
